At Alpine.AI, we are focused on helping retailers and brands excel in this new voice-enabled world.
One of the most disruptive facets of voice platforms is the rapid growth of voice search. It is a simple value prop: people can talk faster than they can type. Once you start a voice conversation, why would you go back to typing?
Consumers currently are falling back to typing because they are asking for information and not getting relevant or effective answers. This is especially true for searches related to brands and retailers… the Alpine platform is going to change that.
But I digress. Voice search is here to stay, but how big is it?
A text search for ‘voice search trends’ pulls up a lot of discussions, but too much noise. Alpine.AI has put together voice search information it backs and believes is important.
Our models show much higher totals than that, but that is the statistic we’ll stand behind.
A huge h/t to @Mikerjeffs especially, and @gsterling + @brysonmeunier – they produced the best posts on this topic and were our starting point for this post. Links to their content at the bottom of this post.
We will continue to update this post, as we find more great information on voice search.
